West Wildwood - A recent spouter commented that when challenged about the police chief's duties, the reply was "She handles all administrative issues." Now that the department is down to just three patrol officers, how much paper is there to push in a given day? Don't forget that we also have another supervisory sergeant in the department. That is two ranking officers for three patrol officers. I can't see how the chief's salary, plus benefits, etc., justifies this to continue. I am very much in favor of police, not in favor of our commissioners refusing to address this total waste to taxpayers.
