West Wildwood - To make the assertion that we would not have protection if we consolidate the police is absurd. We currently pay Wildwood to answer our regular police phone, 911 emergency phone, and all radio dispatching. Do you think that our calls are put on hold because we are a different agency? We rely on Wildwood for back-up to our officers on most calls other than routine radar stops. To pay over $150,000 plus benefits for a chief and sergeant to "supervise" seven patrol officers and four police cars is not good management of our tax dollars.
