West Cape May - At Borough Hall sits an unsent letter "To all West Cape May residents and taxpayers" from Mayor Pam Kaithern and co. asserting that settling the litigation with Willow Creek Winery was "a rational economic decision based on the cost of litigation." Nowhere in the letter do the three acknowledge that they alone chose to initiate this very costly and frivolous ligation and, in the process, squander $1 million or more of taxpayer money, all in order to appease a tiny group of Stevens Street elitist friends. What a disgrace! Where is our full accounting of all past and future costs?
