Villas - Parents need to be careful allowing their children to sleep overnight at their friends' houses. Before allowing this to happen, parents should visit the home and know the people who live there. If there is a heroin addict visiting or living there, their child could be stuck with a hidden, used needle, and contract an infection. Be sure there isn't smoking around the child, especially if they have asthma. What about having a loaded gun in the home? Are parents leaving their child in an unsafe situation? Is there a dog in the home that could bite their child? Parents need to stop leaving children where they wouldn't leave their purse!
