Villas - N.J., which never seems to fail in its zeal for taxing anything that moves (including rain), denies itself an opportunity to bring thousands of dollars into the state's coffers. If only it would let go of its historical aversion to law-abiding citizens' ability to fend off an attack on themselves, their family, friends, neighbors and their home by any means necessary. Instead of being a "may issue" state, it should adopt a "shall issue" attitude. By doing so, thousands of law-abiding citizens would step up and apply for/receive said permits, instantly making the state flush with cash.
