Villas - I agree with a spouter about Villas being the dog-barking capital. My area is the same on Bentz, Langs, and Weber avenues. Call the Lower Twp. police, and animal control, and it falls on deaf ears. Nothing is ever stopped, even during a code blue. The ones that I reported, the dog owners didn't learn. Their dogs were left out in the terrible snowstorm, and guess what, the dogs still barked, as the owners sat inside their warm homes.

Moderator's Note:
Shore Animal Control, in an email to the Herald Jan. 23, stated, "Shore Animal Control seized six dogs left outside and in unheated garages during this past code blue and issued numerous summons for violations of the Extreme Weather ordinance. All dogs reported during the code blue were either brought inside, or taken to the shelter. If you have any reports of dogs left outside in extreme temperatures, please report them immediately by calling the police or 1-800-351-1822."
