The tariffs on steel and aluminum are reasonable, especially when you consider that corporations that have sent their operations overseas for cheaper labor and production costs have been able to turn around and ship those goods back to the U.S., either free or virtually free of import duties. This has caused a massive trade deficit. Corporations also benefitted by keeping their headquarters in the U.S., thus enjoying tax breaks. Win-win for them, a big loss for America.
