Town Bank - The problem with the recent referendum in Lower Township regarding the aquatic center is it did not represent the true taxpayers of Lower, who will bear the whole burden of the complex if built. Second homeowners had absolutely no say in the matter, and renters who had nothing to lose were able to vote. Council needs to take a hard look at this, and homeowners need to get all the facts before the first shovel is dug. If the township elects to move forward on this, it will be a drain on the taxpayers.
