I agree with a spouter that Upper Township needs its own police

Strathmere - I agree with a spouter that Upper Township needs its own police force. Drug use and selling is widespread. Last summer, on Strathmere beach, I called State Police due to widespread drug use on the beach in the evening. It took them over an hour to get there, and by then the crowd was gone. Whale Beach has high drug smoking every weekend. Druggies know there is no police protection. As someone said recently, it's time for Upper Twp. to step up and protect taxpayers.
