Stone Harbor - Not everyone on the island is a muti-millionaire. Some have a difficult time making ends meet. I recently lost my husband and his Social Security contribution for operating our home. The reason that I can live with the electric poles is plain and siimple; I cannot afford a one-time assessment of $30,000 or more, or even a small increase in my yearly tax bill. No huge pension, no stock options tucked away to cash in, just trying to make ends meet here.
