Stone Harbor - In light of the recent racially charged events around our country, I found it particularly troubling that a white Stone Harbor cop found it necessary to stop and question a black teenage boy walking down 1st Avenue from the basketball courts at 96th St. July 11 around 9:15 p.m. I can't help but wonder if that would have happened if my grandson had been a white boy. I think not.
