Stone Harbor - Catholic priests have too much power. They are now the CEOs of their parish, and have forgotten what the true job of a priest is. It isn’t to get more money, which they can spend as they desire, and also treat people as their subjects. That is how private companies work. A priest’s job is to spiritually shepherd his flock. Until the people really revolt, the Catholic Church will continue to have big problems. Other religions hold their pastor accountable. They have a board that the pastor answers to. Catholic pastors are only “advised” by their council, then make their own decisions. It must change.
