During the city council meeting discussing the new affordable housing ordinance, the city solicitor cited Deacon Murphy as his source that the parish has no intention to sell the grade-school property. Once they tear down the old church and construct a 'spiritual life center' with their names on a plaque hanging in the hallway, what’s preventing these folks from changing their mind and selling the grade-school property making way for affordable housing? I’d be weary.
