Sea Isle City - Several of my family are in the military and went to the Sea Isle City welcome center to secure the free beach badge offered to veterans. They went at differing times but each had a similarly poor experience. Each was served by the same person who was not only rude but accused some of lying and in another instance refused to give the requested badge even though all had the proper ID. They required two forms of ID which is not stated anywhere. Why wasn’t a military ID with a picture sufficient? The mayor and recreation commission president will receive letters. This is no way to treat veterans.
