Sea Isle City - FBI Director James Comey is back in the news cycle again. In the interest of protecting the reputation of the FBI, he has asked the Department of Justice to make a public declaration indicating that the FBI categorically was not involved in any wiretapping of Trump Tower. This puts him at direct odds with his boss, President Trump, who has put forward unsupported allegations that the Obama administration did, in fact, conduct wiretapping of Trump Tower. Comey is, in effect, now categorically saying that Trump's allegations are untruthful. Will Comey now be fired like Sally Yates and Mike Flynn?

A New York Times headline March 5 states, "Comey Asks Justice Dept. to Reject Trump’s Wiretapping Claim."
