Sea Isle City - Believe it or not, many historic structures still remain in Sea Isle. The Ocean Drive, Townsend's Inlet Civic Center, Townsend's Inlet Yacht Club, and Old St. Joseph Church date back to the 1800s; the 1st Bank of Sea Isle on 43rd St.; the Trinity Community Church is celebrating its 96th anniversary; a few Queen Anne style homes and cottages from the 1800s still stand. Just because we have lost a great deal of historic buildings like old City Hall and Ludlam Lighthouse does not mean we shouldn't celebrate those that still remain, and formally designate these buildings as community treasures honoring their roles.
