Rio Grande - Maybe Cape May County officials can finally admit there is a huge homeless problem in our community; unfortunately, after a well-known homeless man freezing to death in what is referred to as "tent city" behind Rio Grande's Walmart.
Moderator's Note:
Police have not released the cause of death. An official Point In Time survey indicated a small number of homeless, which county officials agree is small, however, homeless individuals are often not willing to be counted in an official capacity. The Social Services department is willing to help any individual who qualifies.
