Ocean View - Dennis Township has a new Republican majority on the committee. New appointments were made to the Consolidated Land Use Board and the Environmental Commission. If this township is to compete regarding business development and developing new residential home ratables, it needs to start enforcing its existing zoning ordinance. Types of land use and where they are permitted are clearly spelled out, but it seems there are many transgressions not being enforced. Also, public safety and nuisance issues are a high priority to maintain desirable neighborhoods.
