I was at the Elks in North Wildwood Nov.

North Wildwood - I was at the Elks in North Wildwood Nov. 23 and purchased a bell to help pay for a Christmas party. I thought the money collected was going to be used for gifts for the kids, but later learned it was for the hot dogs and soda for those who attend. My question is with all the people who help in the Elks and all the money they make on Irish weekend, plus the bar and kitchen, why are they collecting money from the members who pay $67 a year? The collected money should be for gifts, not for hot dogs and soda, which is cheap.
