I read that Sea Isle will be eliminating their volunteer EMS ser

North Wildwood - I read that Sea Isle will be eliminating their volunteer EMS service and making it part of the city workforce. I can understand the circumstances considering the volunteer EMS services is harder to maintain, especially for a resort town with a small winter population, but one still needs the service regardless of the population size. Just don't do what North Wildwood did and put the fire department in charge. They send pumper and ladder trucks to the smallest call for medical attention. This puts wear on those trucks and they now require more maintenance and the endless ensuing cost.
