North Wildwood - I read in the Press about an Egg Harbor Twp. vehicle stop where cops found 11 pounds of pot, two suspects and $11,000. The two were released on summonses. "Warrants were later issued for both," the article stated. Why didn't they hold them long enough to get the warrants? One guy turned himself in. He was released after one day in jail even though he had previous charges for multiple weapons and heroin distribution. The other guy has pending possession of 10 pounds of pot just last summer. Do they think either one shouldn't be held until trial because he has a job to go to? This is the new bail reform.
