North Cape May - As I gaze around watching people and their dogs, I have concluded that either dogs are getting smarter or that humans are getting dumber. The dogs are carted around in baby pouches and are dressed in fancy clothing. I hear people talking to their dogs in an engaging conversation. I wonder if dogs understand language to be talked to by humans. What is going on with the latest fashions for rover? I wonder if rover will ever say to their owners that "I am just a dog."
