North Cape May - I dropped my 19-year-old daughter off at the 26th St. Boardwalk ramp, and received a phone call. So, as I sat and watched her walk up to meet a friend, I started the car and answered the call (I was curbside), and a Wildwood police officer came over to my window checking my license and telling me it was against the law to sit curbside with the motor running. I had started my car because I was ready to leave when I got the call. I've never heard that law in my life. A North Wildwood police officer said that officer was wrong. Be careful what tickets you pay, as it may not be an offense.
