Middle Township - To a Wildwood spouter, Wildwood Fire Dept. responded to a very serious fire in Wildwood Crest, as did many other fire departments in the county. There is no fire dept. in the county that would have been able to handle that size fire by themselves. All departments use mutual aid. I suggest you stop complaining and join the volunteers. That way the paid guys can stay in town while you go assist. It's easier to complain than step up. There is a fire class starting in September.
