Middle Township - It's good that Middle Township High School is looking for a new boys' basketball coach. Hopefully, they'll hire a coach that is either already a teacher in the district, can actually teach classes, or has a real job outside the school. The board shouldn't be creating no-work jobs for sports coaches. That is money for salary and benefits that can be spent on real teaching positions, other programs that can benefit more children, or updating teaching materials. Serving the greater student body is more important than the few who play basketball.
