Middle Township - I drove through Avalon Manor recently, and became very nostalgic for the way it used to be. I grew up spending many summer days there in the 50’s and 60’s across from Tommy’s Marina and Dutch’s luncheonette and docks alongside the “dingdong” bridge. I only have one or two photos of us on the docks or boarding grandpop’s boat. Does anyone have any old photos of Dutch and the luncheonette, Tommy’s docks and the store, and the houses closest to the point? I would love to see them at the historical museum in a collection or in a video on YouTube. Memorable stories and recollections are a bonus.
