Erma - What seems to be lacking in the youth today is discipline, perseverance, and tenacity in their lives. The youth are content with seeing the world by the gadget in the palm of their hands. They would rather communicate through social media, rather than in a human fashion. Mandatory military would be a great start for everyone in our country. A little tough love could go a long way for the youth of today. We have gone from the greatest generation to the softest generation of today. Life is more than what one can get out of it, rather in what one can do and accomplish.
