Dennis Township - The owner of the B.L. England power plant should no longer be required to pay Upper Township energy receipts now that it's no longer operating and will be sold. Why should the owner of the plant keep being bled for revenue after it closes? Upper Township has had a free lunch for too long. Start paying real property taxes like the rest of us. The B.L. England power plant property should be cleaned up and turned into a nature preserve, not condos or new homes.
