Del Haven - Protesters formed outside of Attorney General Jeff Sessions Department of Justice (DOJ) office March 2 chanting "lock him up." At his confirmation hearing in mid-January, he conveniently did not disclose that he had two meetings with a Russian diplomat in July and September when investigations were underway regarding Russian hacking and Trump campaign contacts (Sessions was a high-profile Trump campaign surrogate). The list is now scores of both Republicans and Democrats in Congress demanding his resignation and that he recuse himself from overseeing all Trump-related FBI and DOJ investigations.

Moderator's Note:
According to a Wall Street Journal article March 2, "Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Thursday he will remove himself from involvement in any investigation related to the 2016 presidential race, following the disclosure that he had conversations with a Russian official while advising the Trump campaign. Lawmakers from both parties had called on Mr. Sessions to recuse himself after reports that he met with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. last year, even though he had testified in Senate confirmation hearings that he had no contact with Russian officials during the campaign. ... In a brief press conference, Mr. Sessions denied he had misled lawmakers during his confirmation hearing, saying he had been asked only if he engaged in a continuing exchange of information with Russian officials. He said it is 'totally false' to say he did so, and that his answer to the Judiciary Committee was 'honest and correct as I understood it at the time.'" See full story here: https://goo.gl/49Ihyg.
