Del Haven - City of Wildwood installed water monitoring wells in Del Haven last year. The City of Wildwood receives their fresh water from a pumping station in Rio Grande. They pump one million gallons of water a day. On a summer weekend, it's far more. Could this be the cause of salt intrusion in Del Haven being so close to the bay? I speak with other homeowners in the area and no one is resistant to paying for public water. Buying water and maintaining wells, pumps, and water softeners far exceed the cost of public water. When is Middle Township going to do something for Del Haven and its residents?
