Court House - When the temperatures dip, you must bring your dog inside. No exceptions. Your guard dog is a dog covered by the law. Dogs outside in these temperatures for more than 10 minutes unsupervised need access to a compliant dog house. It is sturdy, has no holes, has plenty of straw for bedding and a safe door flap. Liquid water and food should be available. Plan a heated inside space for your pet. Make water available to the wild things. A little bird seed would help too. You can make cozy shelters for community cats and provide some kibble. Value all life.
