Court House - Some people are upset that poor kids get free food, but these days, many Cape May County parents earn about $10 per hour, work two part-time jobs, then get laid off in October, getting unemployment benefits until work comes around in May. They struggle to pay rent, utilities, etc. Companies are not offering benefits, pensions or full-time, year-round employment. So, providing food for our families is a struggle. Try to understand before you judge.
