Court House - To a person from Dennisville stating they heard Sen. Van Drew didn't want to debate his opponent, it's actually the other way around. She didn't want to debate him. Don't believe me, ask the CMC League of Women Voters who run the debates. She didn't even show up to the candidate forum in Middle Twp. Van Drew was there answering questions from the public. Check the facts before you "spout off."

According to Corinne Robinson, voter services director, League of Women Voters of Cape May County, in an email to the Herald, "The debate for the First Legislative District was not able to be held this year due to inability to find a mutually acceptable date that allowed for attendance by all candidates. (Mary) Gruccio was not in attendance at the Middle Township Chamber of Commerce due to a previously scheduled meeting and the Chamber was aware of that and made that announcement at the beginning of the evening's event."
