Court House - Parents at Cape May County Technical School are sick over the decisions of the school board to allow dangerous students to remain in the school. In the last two weeks, a student threatened a terrorist attack against the school. Were the parents notified? No. Our children came home and told us. Last month, a student was running through the halls with a knife and assaulted a teacher. Our children told us that office people were in the halls screaming to run and hide. This is how they keep our children safe? Time for a class action suit to sue the school for putting our kids in harm's way.

Moderator's Note:
Superintendent Nancy Hudanich, in an email to the Herald Feb. 23, stated, "The information provided to you about terroristic threats made to our school and a student running through the halls with a knife assaulting a teacher is simply inaccurate. However, any time a safety concern is brought to our attention it is investigated promptly and thoroughly. Keeping the Cape May Tech community (students and staff) safe while at school is a top priority. I am proud to say that we have a knowledgeable school safety and security director in place as well as a school resource officer that together assist our administration in making sure our schools are safe and secure."
