Cape May - When one makes promises, fabricates and misleads the voters to get elected, it's only a matter of time before the air turns sour and their ill will shines through, and that's what's happening in Cape May. Where are the grants, planning going forward and open discussions? We got a new lawyer to help redevelopers, a grant writer on retainer, a paid assistant for the mayor, new deputy city manager who is also the fire code official, new police and firefighters, $61,000 in new office furnishings, and increased water/sewer rates, but can we spend ourselves to success? No, only tax increases.
