Cape May - The signs on the big bridge into Cape May from the Parkway read, "Walk bikes on sidewalk over bridge." Some interpret this as meaning bikers can't bike on the roadway over the bridge. I don't believe this is true. New Jersey is a share-the-road state. Bike riders have the right to use the roadway (except on toll roads and limited access highways). I've seen people in cars yelling and beeping at bicyclists who ride on the road. I believe the signs mean that you can't bike on the sidewalk. This really needs to be clarified before someone gets hurt or killed from a case of road rage.
