Cape May - In response to a Villas spout on the unemployment in our area, I am 65 years old and have lived here all of my life. The unemployment status has always been this way. We are a resort area similar to that in lower Delaware and Maryland's eastern shore. In the off-season, we elect to go on unemployment or move closer to the bigger cities. I worked in Philadelphia during the week and accepted the area for what it is. I enjoyed the peace and quiet on the weekends. Now, I enjoy it full time. Unemployment is never a good choice, especially for those with families.
