Cape May - To the person from Cape May who said when someone states "it's my service dog" the police can ask no questions because of privacy laws, the police can ask what is the task the animal was trained to perform. This does not invade privacy and it will help to show the difference between a service dog and a comfort dog. They do it at the zoo so untrained animals won't be aggressive to the visitors. It is legal and most people who have service dogs don't mind answering the question because they know the situation.
