Cape May - Before moving to Cape May, I held a council seat where I previously resided. I'm glad to see they appointed the city manager although his name was made public at the Wawa many weeks ago just waiting for the contract to be agreed upon. Also discussed is the status of the HPC, outdoor seating, police chief lawsuit, etc. As an elected official, you take an oath to protect the town and its residents. I find it very unprofessional/unethical for a sitting council person to be discussing city business. No need to attend the meeting, just go to Wawa for an update.

Isn't city business public business?
