Cape May - The left wing news media is all over President Trump's comment on the 27 homicides in Philadelphia since Jan.1, 2017. That is one a day so far this year. This is unacceptable anywhere let alone a city so close to us here in Cape May. Some of the comments that will follow this spout will likely defend the media bashing of our president. What if this happened to you or someone you love? A different reaction or comment would result for sure. You cannot bury your head in the sand on this one. Murder and mayhem are out of control in all of our cities and it needs to stop now.

According to a Fox News article Jan. 26, "It is true that the 27 homicides recorded for the month through Wednesday were the highest total for January since 2012. But a single month's numbers can't be used to predict how a year will end up."
