Cape May - Does the city really need a police chief? Why is his salary so high? This is not Camden. It really is like corporate welfare. I understand there was a problem in town with stolen bikes, but there really is not much crime. How many felonies in the past 100 years? Would it be better to hire about 12 class 2 officers in lieu of the police chief's salary?
