Cape May - Can someone explain why the new Cape May Council needs outsiders to select candidates for city manager? That is the responsibility of a council member. If you're not qualified to perform the duties, then it's time to step down. Furthermore, it is a major conflict having a council member's husband on that committee. The voters trusted you to do a job, not turn it over to others.
