Avalon - The tragic but predictable death of the young black man at the hands of the Chicago PD should be troubling to everyone. All he had to do initially was not steal a car. When caught in the stolen car, not flee from the police and when the flight ended in a hail of gunfire, he could have given up. Without critiquing how the cops handled the situation, the most obvious cause of this young man's death was his lawless behavior. Either we accept that breaking the law is a deadly risk, or we just stop hiring cops, and let people work out their own problems.
