Avalon - A North Cape May spout cites a number of problems that afflict our society, such as drugs, gangs, and deranged individuals. Given that these problems exist, it makes no sense at all to make it as easy as possible for "bad guys" to get guns. Giving the bad guys a green light only makes these problems worse. Until such problems are solved, we need strict gun-control laws such as universal background checks to reduce the level of gun violence in our country.
