Avalon - None of us are getting out of here alive. It seems that each progressive generation sees themselves as more immortal than the preceding generations did. Maybe it is because death was more familiar to the folks of the Greatest Generation or their Boomer children, but from Gen X to Millennials, they seem to forget that none of this stuff lasts forever. For folks who believe in a hereafter, there seems to be a lack of planning for what is to come. For folks who don't believe in a hereafter, there seems to be too much time wasted in preparations for tomorrows that are not guaranteed.
