Avalon - No one is born a criminal. Babies do not come into this world "packing heat." Every person who is a criminal today was a law-abiding citizen before they turned to crime. One strong inducement to a life of crime is the ease with which guns are available. Make it more difficult for the "bad guys" to get guns, and there will be less need for the good guys to have guns.
