Avalon - It is time that the freeholders of our county consider the purchase of two dredges - one for ocean beach and Delaware Bay beach dredging and one for back bay dredging.Thus, we could establish a Cape May County ocean/bay beach restoration authority. A tax on the sale/transfer of property of 1 percent could fund same. It's time to take matters in our own hands, before federal/state money disappears.
