Avalon - I was taking my 2-mile morning walk July 8, not on a busy part of Dune Drive (north end). As I was crossing, a car hit me. Driver's head was down, not driving, not looking. Car hit my knee/leg. I pushed off and crashed to the road with my head. A terrifying experience. I want to thank all of the kind people who rushed to help and get in touch with my family. And, police, EMT, ambulance crew. Cape Regional ER was wonderful.
