Avalon - I hope Van Drew and his team are reading the spouts and took notice of a spout from South Dennis regarding the humane treatment of dogs. This kind of mindset is exactly why their proposed bill of upgrading and improving domestic animal living conditions is so much needed. The state needs to set a uniform and absolute law that criminalizes animal abuse and sets clear and defined fines and penalties. Good luck Van Drew, as your bill moves forward through the Senate, and I hope your colleagues in the Assembly are on board also. All of New Jersey needs this law.
