Avalon - Avalon has a rule that you cannot set up your sprinkler to spray and waste water on driveways, sidewalks, and the street. Also, having any water run off into the gutter is illegal. Good rule. It wastes water. Actually, in our location, research shows that grass on our barrier island does not require watering due to our temperate climate, and moist atmosphere. Knowing that Avalon has a rule against watering concrete, why do they not enforce it? Why is the Borough of Avalon watering the islands on Dune Drive nightly, soaking the whole road, and creating streams in the gutters 50-inches away?
